“We have had intermittent electrical issues on our 2015 Thor Class C coach for 3 years. We have had several technicians look at the problem, and no one could permanently fix it. We had several work around solutions, but problems kept occurring. We were last told a program board was bad and it would take 1/2 day to fix it. We ordered the $300 part, but then that tech ghosted us and wouldn't return our calls. We called Merrick to help us out. He called back right away and we scheduled a time with him. He was a terrific communicator, telling us when he would arrive, etc. He came, reviewed the problem, put in the new board, removed our work arounds, and had the coach in great working order within 90 minutes. In short, he showed integrity, ingenuity, and great knowledge on how to get everything done. He even waited while we ran though running the slides, jacks, etc, to make sure all was well. I will definitely keep him in my phone for when we are in the Bayfield/Durango area.”

“Really lucky we found Merrick to repair the blown wheel bearing on our travel trailer. We arrived at the RV park at the fairgrounds in Durango to find one of our wheel bearings damaged with a loose tire. It was Thursday afternoon and we started calling around to find a repair shop. We found Merrick, texted him a picture of the wheel, and he came to our campsite the next morning and fixed it that day even though he had to change his schedule for other work. We really appreciated him helping us quickly so we could continue our travels, and at a fair price. He warned us that the spindle was scratched and he did the best he could to smooth it, but it may fail again and we should replace the axel when we get back home to Wisconsin. “We travel full time, and had a water pump fail. I bought a pump from a local shop, but they were unable to schedule an install as I was in town for only two days. I installed the pump but it wouldn't prime. I called Merrick on a Saturday afternoon to see if he could help. Merrick offered several suggestions which worked, but the pump needed additional plumbing for a permanent install. Merrick said that he could do it, but it would be late afternoon on Sunday.
